We're proud to work with some of the leading fitness franchises in the UK and over the last couple of months, we have attended the annual Anytime Fitness conferences in the UK, Spain and Italy. We were proud platinum sponsors of the UK event in Nottingham and the company was represented by Vish Patel, Alan Hickson, Helen Findon and myself.
For each event, the team had several account management meetings with existing clients as well as spending time with new franchisees telling them what we do and how we support them as they launch their new club.
In addition to sponsoring the UK conference as a whole, this year we also sponsored the keynote session – State of the Nation, delivered by David Minton, Chief Technology Officer at the Leisure Database Company. David is a fitness industry entrepreneur with an international footprint and 30 years’ experience and is the Founder and Director of the successful and unique Leisure Database Company which audits and reports on the industry. A great conference was rounded off with the awards dinner where we enjoyed entertainment from the mind-reading duo, and 2017 Britain’s Got Talent finalists, DNA. Vish, Alan and I even managed to grab a quick selfie with them!
The Spanish event was attended by Vish and two of our engineers who work from our Spain office, Franco and Carlos. Held in Valencia, the high profile event is open to all Spanish franchisees and delivers professional development sessions and inspiring peer presentations. In between sessions, franchisees were able to chat with our team who made sure that everyone they spoke to was happy with our service and up to date with the latest products and upgrades on offer from Control Group.
In Italy, Anytime Fitness is starting to experience real growth, so it was great to meet with all the new franchisees who have just opened new clubs. The conference was attended by Chris, Vish and our Italian engineer, Bryan. It was great to hear all the positive feedback from everyone at the event and their enthusiasm about the Anytime brand growing across the country.
